JSouth Sudan’s hip-hop scene just got louder and bolder, with everyone and anyone claiming the throne. Rapper One Pound has officially crowned himself the King of Hip-Hop in the country, and he’s daring anyone to challenge his throne.
“I don’t compete — I dominate,” One Pound declared in a recent new song. “These rappers are still learning to rhyme in juba arabic while I’m building an empire.”
Known for smash hits like “Ana Kaab” and “kalas”, One Pound has become a household name, blending street grit with lyrical heat. His fans chant his lines like gospel, and his swagger is unmatched ,well i might have lied there but again, zol ta juba, so swag is swag has long has he has a pair of white air-force and one black jean.
To the underground? The king has a message: “If you want the crown, step in the booth — and bring real bars.”
