AKON, South Sudan – The Appearing Governor of Warrap State and deputy Governor Aluel Garang prolonged her condolences to the household of President Salva Kiir Mayardit following the demise of 1st Lt. Lual Mayardit Thiik, who handed away on Oct. 11, 2024, after a short sickness.
In a press release shared with The Juba Mirror `Information Desk, the Appearing Governor expressed deep sorrow over the passing of 1st Lt. Thiik, a member of the South Sudan Folks’s Protection Forces (SSPDF) who served within the Tiger Division and within the ministry of tourism. His demise occurred at his dwelling village in Akon.
“The Authorities and the individuals of Warrap State are profoundly saddened by the surprising demise of 1st Lt. Thiik, who was devoted to serving his nation,” the assertion learn.
The Appearing Governor conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of H.E. the Governor of Warrap State to the household, buddies, and the group of Awan Chan, Gogrial West, and Warrap State, urging them to depend on religion throughout this time of grief.
“We pray for energy and luxury for the bereaved household. Might the Almighty God console them, and will 1st Lt. Thiik’s soul relaxation in everlasting peace.”
