If South Sudanese hip-hop had a fire alarm, somebody should probably pull it.
DME Young King is back with his new “Wotowoto” freestyle, and apparently, simply rapping wasn’t enough. He had to remind everybody why he’s one of the scene’s standout talents.
DME came hungry, confident and completely comfortable on the beat. The flow is sharp, the delivery is effortless, and the bars land like he came to collect rent.
And honestly, calling it a freestyle almost feels disrespectful. He didn’t just freestyle on “Wotowoto.” He murdered it, maybe at this point Odumodu should go down on his knees and ask this South Sudanese Ninja for a collabo already before the audience thinks he under performed on his own song when they hear DME’s version of the same song.
The funniest part? He made it look easy. While some rappers need three business days and emotional support to find the pocket, DME simply pressed record and started causing problems.
At this point, somebody needs to stop leaving microphones unattended because DME has found one and the beat may need therapy.
